- Daily, in all seasons, extreme weather conditions permitting.
- The program follows a school-year rhythm, with closures for most major Ontario school holidays. Exact dates and closures will be confirmed with families prior to enrolment.
- Families provide a packed lunch and water bottle. Supplementary drinking water and healthy vegan snacks can be made available so children feel energized and ready to grow.
- Comfortable clothing and footwear suited to the weather and season. What some call "bad weather" can offer wonderful opportunities to learn and explore, though we'll stay inside during extreme weather if necessary. Indoor shoes are encouraged, but not mandatory.
- Families are welcome to arrange a visit in advance to explore the indoor and outdoor spaces, meet the educator, and discuss whether the program may be a good fit.
