Small class. Big ideas. Room to grow.
Wonder. Create. Belong.
Intentional teaching, play-based inquiry and hands-on learning
Through art, outdoor exploration, meaningful play and thoughtful problem-solving, children build strong foundations in literacy and math while learning to think independently, embrace new perspectives, and care for the world and one another.
With the space and individual attention to grow, children are encouraged to be bold, imaginative, and wonderfully themselves. Every child deserves the chance to discover the power of their own voice, and what they're capable of imagining, creating and becoming.

Why I started The Idea Garden
After eight years in public education, and having a child of my own, I knew the kind of learning I wanted to offer wasn't possible with the class sizes and resources I was given. So I took the leap. With a small group, I can truly know each child, build on their strengths, and make sure no one falls through the cracks.
